she is on her way,

on a quiet day,

For Michelle, Sarah and Xhia,

Until that implosion

that first a jolt,

when uncontrollable tremors,

shook this floor from side to side,

that feeling of a rocking chair,

and like a sprig of wheat in the wind.

Their faces,

inscrutable,

as that infernal heat,

fume and smoke began to rise from below a penthouse.

Then,

those flames

as if eloping with their entire frames,

like those rays of an incandescent

[Eduardo]

Lotus,

was her name.

It was tattooed on the smooth curves of her back.

Its symbol,

the flower that is,

just right above her third chakra, on the serpentine silver chord.

It was a symbol of profound depth. . .

The first poem hungered

and her last one read, had confidence in its ability to delete.

An Initiate,

sat in deep thought,

and listened to the echoes of her

[Eduardo]

Breathtaking,

you were all. . .

We never know how fragile life is,

until something like this happens. . .

Some people took swan dives from these twin towers. . .

The excellency of the human spirit,

in its release taking flight,

while that flesh returns to the earth,

wherein it belongs,

that translucent winged spirit releases the body of any pain.

Therein that decision, was silent peace that few enjoined with providence could fathom,
