Another failure, hence the title, "Kylee - One" (- Meaning to say that there will have to be at least a "Kylee - Two" before I am happy with the results)
This one started out just fine but I managed to ruin it right at the end, with too much fixative - and then trying to make good the damage with yet more pastel. (I was trying to use up what I thought was an almost empty can of Golden museum grade varnish - but it had rather more left in it than I had planned for...)
Soft pastels on Saunders Waterford rough watercolor paper
18 1/2" x 12 1/2" (47cm x 32cm)
I know, I know... "Don't give-up the day job just yet!"
Well. artfreaks.com is supposed to be a website for amateur artists and beginners...!!

One of the men at the door thought I was taking pictures of them, but I explained it was just the pub I wanted being the celebration it was!

The artifical island they are making in the middle of the Bay doesn't help, either!

Great shot. It’s a shame the high rise disturbs the view, but the Sunset over Manila Bay really does need to be experienced!
