A pastel painting of Philippine pop / rock star Barbie Almalbis on stage with her guitar. This was my second attempt at this painting. It was copied from an advertisement for Golds Gym that appeared in the Philippine Star of May 15, 2006. Barbie Almalbis is one of my favorite Filipina pop / rock stars. She looks great, she is a very intelligent girl and she is a highly accomplished musician! (She's also very fit - thanks apparently to Golds Gym!)

One of the men at the door thought I was taking pictures of them, but I explained it was just the pub I wanted being the celebration it was!

The artifical island they are making in the middle of the Bay doesn't help, either!

Great shot. It’s a shame the high rise disturbs the view, but the Sunset over Manila Bay really does need to be experienced!
