This is one of my main characters for my story the Silver Sphere. It's hard to summarize, but I've done my best:
There's always someone who wants out. Everywhere, anywhere, there is always a person that's dying to escape their lives and find what they really want, even if they don't know what it is. And if these people are lucky, one day, they'll meet a stranger who will show them the Silver Sphere and, if they desire, take them to find their dream and life's purpose. Even if it takes them across the galaxy.
Every Owner meets their share of people who long for something more, and have stolen them away from their dead-end lives and given them purpose. Several years pass between Owners, and for them there is always a much larger and more important lesson and desire for them to learn of. But there is always something in common between them. Heart, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure.
