Axe Grinder (work in progress)

This was originally a drawing commissioned by a heavy metal band Back in the late 90. ( opps it was the early 90 I did this one) The original was done in ink and pencil. Before I put the color to it. I did what was call a PMT shot of it, a high quality photo stat camera shot. Some of you old time graphic artists will know what I'm talking about. I gave the band a color xerox copy of it (new technology in those days) They thought they had the original and tried to steal it without paying for it. I still had the original. (losers) Any way the original is hanging in my sisters house. I decided to keep it for myself, the head i part of my personal logo. This is on of the most reproducible and versatile piece I've ever made. This particular copy is a digitally enhanced picture. The colors are not anything like the original.
