Sunset through the Great Oak

The “Great Oak” is an iconic Petersfield landmark which now sits between a hotel of the same name and a branch (no pun intended) of McDonalds.
The setting sun is seen between the branches setting across the South Downs at Butser Hill.

One of the men at the door thought I was taking pictures of them, but I explained it was just the pub I wanted being the celebration it was!

The artifical island they are making in the middle of the Bay doesn't help, either!

Great shot. It’s a shame the high rise disturbs the view, but the Sunset over Manila Bay really does need to be experienced!
