When a defending player commits a "Foul" in the Penalty area ( an area of 25 x yards in front of a goal) an unapposed "Penalty" Kick is taken with only the Goalkeeper standing in the way! Usually, but not always, it results in a Goal and here Aldershot go 1-0 up in the big local game between them and Woking. The game, on Boxing Day, 2021 ends all square at 1-1!© Tim Penycate
