  1. Camber Dock is in Portsmouth a city on the South Coast of England. It is an important military and commercial port, and the home of the UK’s Royal Navy. In this shot from Camber Dock, the landmark Spinnaker Tower, Ben Ainslie Sailing Centre, Gunwharf Ferry Terminal and the wonderful Bridge Tavern can be seen against the backdrop of the passing storm clouds. High tide is also approaching as can be seen by the water levels in the Dock.

I took this photo during my Boracay trip last summer. This is my first time in Boracay and definitely not the last. I will post more of my travel photos in my "explore" album 😁

  6. Sometimes ships work in sunset photos - and sometimes they don't! I did try to crop this one but when I removed the ship from the photo - whilst trying to maintain a sensible aspect ratio - I found I was losing some of that lovely glow of the sunset reflected in the water. So I decided to just leave the photo as it is! Pacific Ocean - somewhere near the Northern Marianas Photo taken from onboard the Cable Ship SEGERO

  7. The Korean-registered Cable Ship, SEGERO out in the Pacific Ocean - doing what cable ships do! The colours of the ship blend in nicely with that beautiful tropical sunset! Pacific Ocean - somewhere near the Northern Marianas Photo taken from onboard the Cable Ship SEGERO

  12. Bath City appeal in vain for a “Handball” offence in their 2-1 defeat to Aldershot Town in the FA Cup at Aldershot. This was Aldershot’s first goal of the afternoon and the tie was won in the 8th minute of stoppage time with Aldershot’s second goal. The FA Cup is the oldest “Knockout” football competition in the world having been founded in the 19th Century. This is also the first time Aldershot have met Bath City in a “Senior” game and the first time an Aldershot side have met a Bath City side in any competition since 1939!

  13. I will make a blog post soon about this content before I post more of these ☺️ But just for a glimpse, those boxes came from a chinese company called Kayou, which makes licensed collectible cards. Each booster box has cards of different rarities, with some being rarer than others. SP is one of the rarer ones you can pull, since it's not guaranteed from the box I got this from.

  17. GOOGLE-MICROSOFT In the first year after I retired from FT work, July 1999 to July 2000, Google officially became the world's largest search engine. With its introduction of a billion-page index by June 2000 much of the internet's content became available in a searchable format at one search engine. In the next several years, 2000-2005, as I was retiring from PT work as well as casual and most volunteer activity that had occupied me for decades, Google entered into a series of partnerships and made a series of innovations that brought their vast internet enterprize billions of users in the international marketplace. Not only did Google have billions of users, but internet users like myself throughout the world gained access to billions of web documents in Google
