It was the steam that caught my eye... A very atmospheric view, I thought, on a cold January day in the redeveloped Royal Victoria Dock area.
Walking around Shifen Station on Pingxi Line. This is one of the places where you can try their local trains and this place is also good for food trips and flying lanterns.
5 am morning jog along Bayan Luma Street, Imus, Cavite. Fewer people and vehicles took me a lot of courage to do this again. The last time I jogged in the street was before the pandemic. 😅
According to the plaque, the sculpture entitled "Landed" is by Les Johnson and it was cast at the Bronze Age Foundry in 2008. The plaque reads:
"LANDED"
This sculpture has been erected as a tribute to the history of the communities of the Royal Docks and the men and women who worked there from 1855 -1983. Funded by a charitable appeal supported by the Royal Docks Trust (London).
