Did some ads for a valentine's day party and thought I would make it silly, so I painted this stupid looking idiot in photoshop and yeah I was pleased. Looks super silly to me and that's why I like it. -

I thought it would be silly to make a composition of some weird sea creature (which is actually wearing a mask on my face) coming up from the depths and attacking a boat. The boat is made out of pictures of my tile floor with just an altered hue, I didn't want to look for pictures of boats on the internet, I really dislike making sure all the licensing is public and stuff and "is it okay for me to use this" so I try to be original and use only my images for compositions.© Samuel Bauer, 2012

I had been watching a lot of LOTR when I thought, for an idea for a self-portrait project, that it would be cool to make a composition with me holding the Ring. I just basically took one of the LOTR:FotR movie posters and put an image of myself in and blended it it. The background is some image of Mordor from Google Images. This was fun to make! -

This was another one I did for a school project. My objective was to create a self-portrait. I enjoy music and because of that interest, that is what I based my composition on. This was really quite easy and I could do a much better job on a different one.© Samuel Bauer, 2012

I don't really like this one as much as other compositions I have made. I had to have some form of text on this, for one of my projects and I got lazy and added this quote at the last second - even though I disliked it. I was also to lazy to go back into Adobe Photoshop and remove the quote quickly and optimize it to post on this website. Everything in this compositions is from pictures I took. The main planet behind the bright sun-like entity is grass from a field, the red planet is a metal knob, and I forgot what the yellow one is. The main bright star is a bright beacon-light from on top of my dorm building.© Samuel Bauer, 2012

This was all painted on Adobe Photoshop, no images were imported from the web, which I think turned out pretty cool in the end. There is no purpose really other than to be creative and get a grade for this as one of my projects in my Digital Imaging class. Mainly a fun composition.© Samuel Bauer 2012
