'First thing I noticed was the 'ghosts' and I think they are brilliant! I wasn't sure if they were ghosts or just reflections in the glass but, either way, they turn a fairly normal "still-life" into an interesting picture!

Well.. You done a very good job of it! (A lot of people seem to have quite some trouble drawing hands... You obviously figured it out already but for any struggling beginner who doesn't know this - the trick is to just draw what you see, not what you think you see. One good way of doing this, is to look at the space around the hand. If it is white, fine! Use a black pencil to draw the edge of the white bit!!! It really doesn't matter what colour it is. Just draw the space around the hand, rather than the hand itself. And then fill-in the detail like finger nails and wrinkles, (if you've got any!!)

If you click on "Mod Options," (to the right of your image,) you will be able to give this a title and a bit of a description. (That way, people will be able to find your art on Google and also using this site's internal search engine...)

This good. I really like the colours and the detail! Better photographs would really show-off your work much better though... You need brighter lighting, (preferably indirect sunlight) and the photos would benefit from a little bit of cropping. Any simple photo editing software would do the trick. You don't need to spend any money on anything fancy. The one I use is called Ulead Photo Explorer.
