  1. Thank you, Vic, for the membership. I couldn't see anywhere to post an intro. so I thought I'd do it here with an odd rag bag of pics. I chose the image server because of the large thumbnails and wouldn't invite anyone without a pop-up blocker to click on them - it's not an attempt at spamming, it's just that any decent image server tends to ban me.

    The Joy of Ones Friends: As I sit here and watch you cry My heart becomes weak I fall apart I slowly die Every tear thar falls from your face Is a stab to my heart Knowing I caused this pain It brings me down to my knees Asking for your Forgiveness, You turn and look at me You pick me back up You tell me to stop lying to myself You tell me I didnt cause the sorrow in your eyes You say that you love me You say that you always will And knowing this, I will be forever happy.   4. Reading about the work of cartoonist Gary Larson and how he works I could not help compare and contrast his modus operandi and my own with respect to writing prose and poetry. Larson draws inspiration from similar sources to my own: interests, experiences and memories. He is sensitive about his readers and whether they understand his work. And so is this the case with me and my literary opus. I have one eye on my readers most of the time, but another on the world and all that is therein.
