  1. The Sun is slowly setting, but is obscured by the clouds over West Ryde on the Isle of Wight looking towards Cowes and Osbourne House (former residence of Queen Victoria).

  2. A view over the Solent from Ryde Pier on the Isle of Wight showing the clouds over Fawley Oil Refinery. It has been a stormy day, but that has now passed.

    © Tim Penycate

  3. A heavy thunderstorm has passed over “The Badgers” pub just outside Petworth in West Sussex, and the setting Sun replaces the earlier thunder, lightning and torrential rain.

    © Tim Penycate

  4. The brief rainstorm has passed over and the sun catches the Scots Pine trees in the Hogmoor Inclosure. The blue/grey sky, the golden trees, the green ferns and the brown soil give a beautiful contrast of colours.

    Securing on Deck

c.s. Pacific Guardian with some of the guys out on deck, braving atrocious weather in order to try and secure some mushroom anchors that had broken loose. This was the big storm that "Pac-G" endured on her first attempt at repairing the CANTAT-3 submarine telecoms cable in the North Atlantic, off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland in January, 2007 I was not there, (fortunately!) - So I definitely was not the photographer. (If whoever took thi sphoto would like to post a comment or send me an e-mail, I would be glad to give the credit where it is due!)

    Double Rainbow

The storm has passed and the bright sunlight creates a double Rainbow on the rain as it moves away.

  9. From the album: Blood Storm

Hi, Concept for Zero's space suit or "External Atmosphere" if you want to be fancy. Lightly armored, more designed for moving between ships and working in ships or planets that have a poor atmosphere. Would not hold up well in a gunfight. Comments and crit welcome

  10. From the album: Blood Storm

Hi folks, This started out as a practice for anatomy and turned into a concept for a "Future" appearance of one of the Blood Storm crew. Tried a new shading style with this as well, block shading, in a very comic like style. This enabled me to produce an image a lot faster than usual. Comments and crit welcome
