Finally finished! This was an interesting experiment, working with limited colors and with a base provided by another artist. Big ups to https://www.instagram.com/corgfish_illustrations/ for being kind enough to provide me with a base similar to her work which originally inspired me! -

Gally Aka Battle Angel Alita. I remember when I was Zauberluich junior, seeing the anime for the very first time and I was stunned, loved the character, setting, style, everything. Probably one of the things that fuled the fire of my obsession with scifi. A very insperational manga too, stunning art and characters, with a twisting plot and some mind blowing scenes. It was only a matter of time 'till I touched my 80's/90's anime/manga roots and smashed out some fan art. -

Finally finished, Dhomochevsky from the manga BLAME! One time pal of Killy, sadly Dhomo didn't have Killy's amazing regeneration ability so I tried to make him a little more rag tag. The only Safeguard who is friendly to humans and stands guard over his domain, badass to the bitter end. A big thanks to https://www.deviantart.com/null-entity for his amazing stock assisting with the pose! Check him out guys, you won't regret it. PLEASE ZOOM FOR DETAIL. -

Finally done, Killy blasting away with his GBE [Gravitational Beam Emitter] from the Manga series/Animated Film BLAME! by Tsutomu Nihei. This was a ton of fun to make! The background is actuallyt an edited image from the manga which I thought would be a little more fitting than drawing my own. A big thanks to https://www.deviantart.com/null-entity for his fantastic stock which helped me to no end with the pose, cheers dude! Total of 20+ hours work at least. Please zoom for details! -

Personal piece. Make what you will of it. Please full view for lots of details. Heavily inspires by manga artist: Tsutomu Nihei, who did the art for Biomega and BLAME! his way of drawing cyborgs, humans and synthetic life has always been a huge inspiration for me and this was an effort to try and adopt it, as well as trying to reduce my obsession with making things mostly symmetrical. -
