  2. Class 484 004 has departed Brading on the Isle of Wight’s Island Line on its way to Shanklin. The double track reduces down to a single track. This picture was taken from the Barnes Crossing where a public footpath crosses the railway, in case anyone thinks I was trespassing! 😄

  6. A cold January evening on the Isle of Wight, sees two passengers waiting for the train back to Ryde from Brading on Island Line. As part of major upgrade work on Island Line, Brading Station has been upgraded to have 2 x operational platforms again for the first time since the late 1980s.
