  7. This photo was taken some time in 2005 - during the time when Lito Atienza was the Mayor of the City of Manila; in Metro Manila, Philippines. In those day's the Manila Baywalk was a thriving, lively and safe place for both locals and tourists to visit on any evening of the week. Then, you could enjoy some fine seafood, barbeque, Filipino foods and other cuisines from around the world; whilst enjoying the famous Manila Bay sunset. As the evening wore on, there was always a plethora of live bands and comedy acts to keep you entertained... Last time I visited the place, it was like a ghost town - and I would certainly no longer feel safe walking along the Bay after dark. What happened to the Manila Baywalk? Ask the current incumbant of City Hall, (as of time of writing, in January, 2008); Mayor Alfredo Lim.

  10. Going up the Huang Pu river, the new city of Pudong is to your left and the old city os on your right. There is a very sharp bend coming up in the river. It is not a dead end!
