"It's been a hell of a hike and it's hot, so hot. Between your ragged breathing and the rustle of foliage you catch the sound of rushing water and hope there may be a stream near by where you could take a well earned break. Stumbling through the teeming plant life, your breath issues in an owed gasp as you glance up at the rushing waterfall, droplets of water catching the almost angelic rays of sunlight that pierce the canopy and looking as if glittering gems... It's then you notice the large but clearly very femanine form of a Lizard as she sits perched atop a mossy rock at the base of the waterfall, dipping toe claws in the water as her deep, Morganite eyes study you from within the sockets of her skull headdress"-

The River Wey marks the County Boundary between Hampshire and West Sussex about 2 x miles South West of Haslemere in a village called Hammer (named after a long closed Iron works which used the power of the River to drive machinery). The actual River itself rises in Haslemere and eventually joins the other branch of the River Wey at Tilford before flowing into the River Thames at Weybridge more than 30 x miles away to the North East. The River is fast flowing and has been swollen slightly by a couple of days of heavy rain.
