Some unseasonably cold and wet days in the UK has seen heavy rain showers and strong Sunshine. A recent rain shower has passed and the Sun pitching in from the West creates a beautiful Rainbow above Whitehill in Hampshire. If there is truth about the “Crock of Gold” at the end of the Rainbow, then it is in the “Great Wall” Chinese takeaway! 😆© Tim Penycate

Several heavy rain showers have affected North Hampshire and Whitehill. The rain has passed, but the clouds that brought some of them are now backlit by the setting Sun. This picture is taken from the Bordon and Whitehill Relief Road which follows the course of the old Railway that used to pass through the area.

...and a big pink tongue! This is my best mate, Benjamin - Tim Penycate's beautiful German Shepherd dog. Benj is another RSPCA rescue dog. Not a pedigree but pretty well pure German Shepherd. (I'm not sure where the crooked tail comes from but it in no way alters the fact that Benj is one of the most handsome dogs that I have ever come across!) Here he is, full of energy and really enjoying a day out on M.o.D land at Woolmer Forest, Whitehill, Hampshire, in the South of England, UK
